Pasta choux (bignè)

Ingredients

  • 150 gr. all purpose flour.
  • 4 Eggs.
  • 120 gr. Butter.
  • 2,5 dl. of Water.

Method

  • In a pan, warm the water with the butter and a pinch of salt.
  • When the water starts to boil, remove the pan from the heat, add the flour, and quickly mix with a wooden spoon.
  • Return the pan to the heat and cook, stirring continuously, until the mixture pulls away from the bottom of the pan.
  • Now turn off the heat and gradually add the well-beaten eggs, stirring until the dough is perfectly combined.
  • Once finished, transfer the mixture to a piping bag and pipe balls (to your desired size) onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 15 minutes at 200°C.
