Ingredients

  • 200 gr. chocolate
  • 70 gr. butter
  • 4 Eggs
  • 70 gr. sugar
  • 30 gr. white flour
  • Icing sugar

Method

  • Melt the chocolate and butter together in a bain-marie, then allow the mixture to cool slightly.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until the mixture is creamy and frothy.
  • Gradually add the beaten eggs to the chocolate mixture, stirring well to combine. Then, sift in the flour and gently fold it in, mixing slowly from the bottom to the top.
  • Pour the batter into molds and bake at 220°C (428°F) for 7 minutes.
  • Let the cakes rest for 2 minutes before garnishing with icing sugar. Serve hot, optionally accompanied by a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
